This series consists of five handkerchiefs made from upcycled cotton and embroidered using CNC embroidery. Each features a version of the Jewish blessing over food using a feminine pronoun for God—"the one who nourishes all living beings"—reclaiming spiritual language and expanding who it includes. Together, the works question what it means to speak of nourishment today, in a world where food has become politicized and weaponized, placing Jewish tradition in tension with present realities.
